Which human rights does wearing a mask breach?

Hi Lydia From a human rights perspective it is not mask wearing per se that is the problem, but the mandating of them. For me it is about denying a human being the choice to wear what they wish - a freedom we should all expect in supposedly civilised/ democratic country. As for your list, I'd argue that compulsory mask wearing infringes: 'Don't discriminate'; 'Freedom of thought'; 'Freedom of expression'; & a 'Fair and free world'. Some people argue that a mask could also be seen as a medical device, impacting on the person's oxygen/carbon dioxide balance. As such, it is equivalent to any other medical intervention (e.g. drugs) and requires informed consent rather than it being forced on people.
